In Greek Mythology Hera was worshipped as both the Queen of Heaven and Goddes of Marriage and Women. She was born the child of the Titan Cronus who was destined to be overthrown by his children so he swallowed all his children after their birth. Cronus was trickd by his wife Hera allowing his son Zeus to grow up and eventually lead a revolt against the titans and force Cronus to regurgitate all of his other children. Hera was one of these children regurgitated. She would go on to marry her savior, and brother, Zeus making her the Queen of Heaven.
Hera is associated with a substantial quantity of imagery. She is often depicted holding a pomegranate emblematic of fertility and wearing the polos crow which is used by mythical goddesses. She is also often seen with a number of animals - particularly peacocks, lions, and cows. It was said that her chariot was pulled by Peacocks.
