This 2012 ten dollar piece is a replica of the pre-decimal Australian threepence. The reverse features George Kruger Gray's design for the threepence modified to feature the denomination TEN DOLLARS and the date 2012. The obverse houses the Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II with the legend ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2012. The piece features a 'C' (Canberra) mint-mark. In addition to this piece the Royal Australian Mint also released a one dollar silver proof (C) variety and a uncirculated one dollar mint-mark and privy mark set featuring 'C', 'S', 'B', and 'M' marks.
