legend
KANGAROO SERIES KEN DONE. The obverse features an Ian Rank-Broadley
portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, right-facing with tiara and earrings. It includes the

ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2009. The set comes in a black presentation box with a numbered certificate.
The Kangaroo is probably the animal that is most commonly associated with Australia. The kangaroo is a marsupial mammal
of which there are over forty different species. They range from the largest (Red Kangaroo) to the smallest (Wallabies).
The Red Kangaroo is the largest marsupial mammal in the world. The Kangaroo, along with the Emu, were selected as symbols
of Australia and are featured on the official Australian coat of arms.
