This five dollar silver proof piece is part of a set commemorating Australian Art of the Twentieth Century which is itself within the premier Masterpieces in Silver series. Eight of Australia's greatest artists have been showcased in this set with four released in 2006 and 2007. This 2007 piece commemorates the work of Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri with the reverse featuring his work Yuelamu Honey Ant Dreaming. With the reverse legend stating "c.1934 - CLIFFORD POSSUM TJAPALTJARRI - 2002," and "YUELAMU HONEY ANT DREAMING." The obverse houses the standard Ian Rank-Broadley portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth II with the legend "ELIZABETH II AUSTRALIA 2007".

Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri was born on Napperby Station north-west of Alice Springs in 1934. He began working across a number of stations in Central Australia as a stockman while also developing his skills as a woodcaver. In 1972 Tjapaltjarri joined the Papunya Tula Artists as one of their founding directors. His inventive artwork became well recognised and in 1988 the Institute of Contemporary Art in London organised a retrospective which was both his first solo exhibition. Throughout his life Tjapaltjarri served as an ambassador for Australian Aboriginal art around the world. (Art Gallery of New South Wales, 2014)
