In 2003 the Perth Mint released this one dollar coin to celebrate the 21st Birthday of Prince Henry of Wales. The reverse features a coloured image of Prince Henry with the inscription 'H.R.H. PRINCE HENRY OF WALES - TWENTY-FIRST BIRTHDAY 15-09-2005.' The obverse houses the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II with the legend 'ELIZABETH II - AUSTRALIA -1 DOLLAR.'

Prince Harry was born on the 15th of September 1984 as the second child of Charles the Prince Wales and Lady Dianna Spencer. After studying at Eton Prince Harry began a military career and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Household Cavalry. He served in the British Armed Forces for ten years where he completed two tours in Afghanistan. In 2009 he began training as an Army Pilot and became a Apache Attack Helicopter Pilot. In 2015 Prince Harry left operational service after ten years in the military. (The Royal Family, 2017)
