Sales History

?

In 1952 the Malaya and British Borneo dollar was established for use in Singapore, the Federation of Malaya, North Borneo and Sarawak with coins first issued in 1953 with the one cent first issued in 1956. While the square one cent was continued until 1961, this was replaced for one year in 1962 with a round issue featuring the legend MALAYA AND BRITISH BORNEO around 1 CENT with the date below. The obverse bears the Malayan Kris. The issue is readily available in all grades though proof strikes are rare having only been issued as a proof of record strike.
