Part of a brief, two coin series, the 1903-H two and a half cent is the more common of the two years owing to its high initial mintage of two million pieces. Although common in low grades, it is quite a tough coin to acquire in mint state particularly if sought in higher mint state grades and due to only two years being struck for this type, it is also in high demand among type set collectors making it overall a very desirable date.
