The obverse of this one cent coin is type C and has the legend
VICTORIA QUEEN. The reverselegend reads HONG KONG 1862 with
an inner wreath. It has a centre circle containing a crown and divides the denomination
ONE CENT. The initials T.G and R.M. run vertically on the left and right of the coin respectively outside the wreath. The
date is between an anchor and a lion.
